Embezzlement charges: ACE conducts raids in Ghotki, Shikarpur
Team seized the records of the purchase of medicine and other items from 2010 to 2016

The anti-corruption establishment (ACE) raided on Thursday the district health office in Mirpur Mathelo and Mono-Technical Institute in Shikarpur.
ACE, Ghotki circle officer Sufi Abdul Hafeez Chachar along with a civil judge and judicial magistrate raided the office of the district health officer in Mirpur Mathelo.
The team seized the records of the purchase of medicine and other items from 2010 to 2016. Chachar, talking to journalists, said that the raid was conducted following complaints of massive corruption in the purchase of medicines. However, no arrest was made. We will first go through the record and then arrests the accused, explained Chachar. Another raid was conducted at Mono-Technical Institute, Shikarpur, by ACE circle officer Abdul Wahab Buriro. The team seized records pertaining to the scholarships of students from 2010 to 2016. According to Buriro, all the records were taken into custody before the principal in-charge of the institute, Talib Hussain Lehar.
