Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust is organising the ground-breaking ceremony of the third Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) City on December 29. A paediatric patient, nine-year-old Waleed Ahmed from Jamshoro, will perform the groundbreaking. This new hospital will make comprehensive cancer care accessible for low income cancer patients and bring hope to the people of Sindh and adjoining areas.
