A 22-year-old man was shot dead by his neighbour in Misri Shah on Monday. Police said the victim Muhammad Umair, a resident of Sultanpura, had a dispute with Sohail Ahmed. The two exchanged harsh words and an infuriated Ahmed pulled the gun on the victim, killing him on the spot. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital. Police have collected forensic evidence and recorded statements of eyewitnesses. A case was registered against the suspect.
