In two years: Rs1.76b spent on PIMS upgrades

The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has provided Rs1.76 billion to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) for hospital equipment in during the last two years.
According to CADD officials, upgrading of Radiology Department at Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC) Islamabad was also planned at a cost of Rs364.5 million with provision of CT scan and MRI machines.
Officials said PC-I of strengthening of Maternal and Child Health Care Services at FGPC with a cost of Rs35 million was under process to equip it with latest machinery and equipment.
