Happy times Winter vacations begin across Punjab
Educational institutions were told to remain closed between December 24, 2016 and January 1, 2017

Students across the province will be on winter vacations from Saturday and their holiday will continue through till January 1, 2017.
All public and private schools, colleges and universities have announced holidays as per government directives. According to the schedule, educational institutions were told to remain closed between December 24, 2016 and January 1, 2017.
Through a letter, the Punjab School Education Department (SED) ordered all education executive district officers (EDOs), to ensure that the schedule of the provincial government is followed.
Private schools have also announced winter vacations. All Pakistan Private Schools’ Federation (APPSF) President Kashif Mirza said the institutions will remain closed down from December 24, 2016 to January 1, 2017. His statement added that schools would reopen on January 2, 2017, as per the government schedule.
