No loss of life: Fire erupts in a ship at Gadani
Rescue workers along with the labourers started rescue operations and a fire brigade was called from Karachi

After last month’s incident, another dismantled ship abruptly caught fire at the Gadani Ship Breaking Yard; however, no loss of life was reported.
According to the district administration, the ship standing for dismantling caught fire at plot number 60 of the Gadani Ship Breaking Yard on Thursday morning,
Local officials added, “so far no loss of life was reported in the incident as workers managed to escape the ship.”
Rescue workers along with the labourers started rescue operations and a fire brigade was called from Karachi to extinguish the blaze.
One rescue worker said that the fire erupted while the workers were busy in dismantling the ship and was brought in control.
So far, the cause of fire could not be determined, but the district administration, along with police, has started an investigation into the incident.
