Talking about the 100-day campaign, Akhtar said that it is a good omen that citizens are taking part in the campaign and it will help spread awareness regarding the importance of hygiene and cleanliness among the young people.

He advised the children to concentrate on their education and actively participate in their civic responsibilities. Akhtar also asked the children to spread the message of cleanliness among their friends.

Talking to the media, Akhtar urged the Pakistan Peoples Party leadership to give the local government representatives the rights bestowed upon them by the Constitution.
