Interior minister says Gen Raheel Sharif will be remembered for his key role in war on terror
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that Pakistan is the only country where the terrorism graph has witnessed sharp decline.
"I can say with complete responsibility that as of now no terrorist networks exist in Pakistan,” he said while talking to the media in Landhikotal town of Khyber Agency on Wednesday.

Lauding the former army chief Gen (retd) Raheel Sharif's efforts in eliminating terrorism from Pakistan, Nisar said, “Gen Raheel will be remembered for his key role in war on terror as he led from the front and set examples.” Frontier Corps has rendered great sacrifices in war against terrorism, he added.
Further, referring to Pakistan-Afghanistan ties, the interior minister said after all that Pakistan has done for Afghanistan, including hosting refugees for 30 years, it must not strain the bilateral ties. “Afghanistan now must not seek support from its neighbouring country [India], against Pakistan,” he said.

Pakistan, Nisar said, has constantly been attacked by militants coming from Afghanistan. "By 2020, five controlled routes will be operating from Torkham border."
