Father’s death: CPNE, APNS condole with Atif Saeed

KARACHI: Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) expressed profound grief over the demise of Abdul Rasheed, father of CPNE member and Editor of daily Sama Lahore Atif Saeed Farooqi on Tuesday. In a condolence message issued by CPNE, President Zia Shahid, General Secretary Aijazul Haque, Senior Vice-President Shaheen Qureshi, Vice-Presidents Aamir Mehmood, Rehmat Ali Razi, Mehtab Khan, Syed Haroon Shah, Anwar Sajidi, Joint Secretary Irfan Athar, Finance Secretary Ghulam Nabi Chandio, Information Secretary Tahir Farooq, and all the editors of the newspapers and magazines have prayed for the departed soul and patience for the bereaved family to bear the loss. President Zia Shahid said that all the CPNE members share the grief of Atif Saeed Farooqi for his bereavement. Meanwhile, All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS) also condoled with the bereaved family.
