The rally began from University Road and ended on MA Jinnah Road, where leaders from different organisations, including JuD and Jamaat-e-Islami, spoke. The rally started in the afternoon from the headquarters of JuD located on University Road and reached its final destination, Tibet Centre on MA Jinnah Road, by crossing University Road and Quaid-i-Azam's Mausoleum.

A massive traffic jam was reported on roads leading towards the rally's routes event though the traffic police issued alternative routes for commuters. The traffic situation was normalised after the rally ended on Sunday evening.

The traffic police spokesperson said that the routes on which the rally passed and MA Jinnah Road suffered traffic jams, while the traffic was in the rest of the city was not affected.
