Public Hospitals : AJK to buy drugs from MLAs funds

Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider vowed to provide lifesaving drugs to patients in all district and tehsil hospitals of the state. He said that Rs2.5 million would be deducted from the development funds allocated for each MLA of the Muzaffarabad division for purchase of the medicines. Addressing a ceremony at AIMS the other day, the premier ensured provision of quality and modern medical facilities to people. Among other facilities a dedicated cardiology hospital would also be setup in AJK, he said.
