Environmental impact: Public hearing held for LKP

Project enshrines the vision of CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and hopes to better scenery

A public hearing was organised on the Environment Impact Assessment Report of the Lahore Knowledge Park (LKP) at the Mauza Dera Rakh Chahi, on the Bedian Road in Lahore. The hearing was attended by EPA’s District Officer Environment Anjum Riaz, executives from Osmani & Company, the engineering consultants of the project, LKP officials, general public. During the hearing the audience was apprised about the master plan of the LKP. Dr Jamil Kazmi, from Osmani & Company, gave a detailed presentation on the Environment Impact Study of LKP. LKP’s Muhammad Rashid opened the session with an overview about the park. He also said that the project enshrines the vision of CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
