A 20-year-old boy was found dead in the jurisdiction of Musafir Khana police station on Thursday.
Police said the deceased was identified as Hamza and his body was found from the gutter. The victim had been was missing for five days from Cantt police precincts. The police had registered a case on the complaint of Hamza’s brother Javed.
Javed told the police that on December 10, his brother went to Iftikhar’s house located at Moza Karani. He added, “Today we were informed by police that the victim had allegedly established illicit relations with Iftikhar’s wife and in order to take revenge, Iftikhar killed Hamza.”
However, police arrested the accused Iftikhar and started investigation.
Earlier this year, body of a seven-year-old child was found at Ara Puli near Bahawalpur Road. Police said the child panicked when he saw a bus speeding towards him and jumped into the canal and drowned.
