Improving Facilities: Child health care centre inaugurated
Institute has been established in Shadman No 2 near Nagan Chowrangi

Karachi Mayor Wasim Akhtar inaugurated a child healthcare centre, ‘Child Health Institute’, in District Central on Thursday. According to Akhtar, all the facilities related to child care are there in the institute. District Municipal Corporation central information director Alamgir said that the institute has been established in Shadman No 2 near Nagan Chowrangi, with the financial assistance of Japan International Corporation Agency. According to him, the institute has almost all the facilities for infants, with more than 100 beds, which would soon be extended to 200 beds. He said that the Sindh government has promised to handover a CT scan machine to the health institute.
