Fifteen rabid dog bite cases were reported at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) from Shireen Jinnah Colony and Malir 15 on Sunday.
JPMC head Dr Seemin Jamali confirmed this and said that of the 15, six victims were children. She added that most of the victims have category three bites and have been treated accordingly.
Civil Lines assistant commissioner Maqsood Hussain said they will carry out a campaign to exterminate stray dogs in the area, as they are affecting the human population.
