A Facebook glitch is apparently making old posts and pictures resurface on the accounts of some users, many of which are months or even years old.
Several users complained of outdated posts being re-shared on their timeline without their permission, PCMag reported on Friday.
Facebook responded to users' complaints saying that it was investigating the issue. "We are aware of this and are investigating," a Facebook spokesperson said while speaking to PCMag.

Some users claim the glitch is related to the new version of the social networking app on iOS that was released on Thursday. However the cause of the issue is still unknown.
