"Pakistan and Japan have the best bilateral ties [along] business lines. As many as 80 Japanese companies are currently working here [in Pakistan] and we plan to have more business ties in the near future," Isomura told The Express Tribune in crisp Urdu.

"The Japanese imperial dynasty is one of the oldest in the world. I find them to be very dignified and courteous people — a culturally rich crowd," said Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sharmila Faruqi, adding that the Japanese cuisine served at the celebration was very scrumptious.

Architect Yasmin Lari, who was recently awarded the Fukuoka Award in Japan, expressed gratitude towards the Japanese people while speaking about her visit to Japan. She referred to the trip as 'enriching'.
"It was an amazing experience to travel to Japan. My husband, Suhail Lari, and I were received with outstanding warmth and hospitality by [Japan's] people," said Lari, adding that the same people are industrial leaders of the world today.
