Ombudsman’s Letter: Request to expedite expat cases
He has suggested approaching high courts and civil courts through the National Judicial Policy

The Federal Ombudsman’s office has written a letter to the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan secretary calling for a reduction in the time allowable to resolve a variety of legal cases that overseas Pakistanis might face. According to a press release, Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar has written that to build confidence in overseas Pakistanis, early dispute resolution measures could be taken. He has suggested approaching high courts and civil courts through the National Judicial Policy Making Committee to designate judges at all levels to deal with cases where overseas Pakistanis are plaintiffs or defendants and to decide these cases within six months, and that no stay orders of over 90 days are issued.
