The Pentangular Cup third- round match between Federal Areas and Punjab petered out into a draw on the final day in Lahore.
Federal Areas ended the day on 133 for two with opener Umair Khan following up his first-innings century with another good performance, top-scoring with an unbeaten 58. Umar Amin (52*) continued his fine form in the tournament, notching up yet another half-century while Mohammad Khalil and Asad Ali picked up a wicket each for Punjab.
Earlier, resuming on 222 for five, the hosts lost their last five wickets for 83 runs and were all out for 305. Punjab had Kamran Sajid and Adnan Akmal to thank for as they crossed the 300-run mark. Sajid made 46 with the help of six fours while Akmal contributed 30. Sadaf Hussain and Iftikhar Anjum did the damage for the visitors, picking up three wickets each.
Anwar dominates for Balochistan
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Balochistan also drew their match on the last day, with K-P ending on 181 for four.
Adnan Raees was the most successful batsman scoring 71 with the help of 12 boundaries. Aftab Alam was the other significant contributor with 46.
For Balochistan, Nazar Hussain, Zulfiqar Babar, Rizwan Haider and Shoaib Khan all picked up a wicket each.
Resuming on 145 for three, Balochistan put up a solid batting performance, declaring on 321 for seven, giving K-P an unlikely target of 335 in 46 overs. Saeed Anwar was the highest scorer, hitting 122, with the help of 13 boundaries, before he was run out.
Gulraiz Sadaf supported him well with 41 runs. Nauman Habib was the pick of the K-P bowlers with three for 89.
