Mutual cooperation: Chinese delegation visits PARC office
The delegation also visited other departments of mutual interest
ISLAMABAD:
A six-member Chinese delegation including fishery scientists and engineers from Gansu Fishery Research Institute (GFRI), Lanzhou, China visited the Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (Parc) headquarters on Thursday. The delegation, led by Wang Bin, Deputy Director General Department of Science and Technology of Gansu province, discussed cooperation between China and Pakistan in cold water fish production and bio-energy. The delegation also visited the National Agricultural Research Centre (Narc) Islamabad, which is the largest centre in the Parc network. Member Plant Sciences Division Dr Ghulam Muhammad Ali and Director Narc Dr Pervaiz Khaliq briefed the delegation about Narc and its research activities. The delegation also visited other departments of mutual interest to outline the collaboration between both sides.
