Guests and visitors: Police seek details from hotels, guest houses
The heads of police zones are already conducting meetings with hotel and guest house owners in their respective areas

The Islamabad police have directed the owners of all guest houses and hotels to maintain complete records of guests and those coming to meet them and to submit this details to the relevant police station on a daily basis.
To ensure effective implementation of the National Action Plan, Islamabad Police have decided to enhance vigilance on guest houses and hotels and will not allow any unregistered guests to use temporary accommodation.
The heads of police zones, a source said, are already conducting meetings with hotel and guest house owners in their respective areas and briefing them about the new security measures.
Guests would be required to provide their names, cell phone numbers, permanent addresses, CNICs, and reasons for visiting Islamabad.
