HYDERABAD:
The Sindh Anti-Corruption Establishment on Wednesday arrested the personal assistant of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s (HMC) mayor, Syed Tayyab Hussain, on charges of accepting bribes.
The admin officer, Altaf Baig, was apprehended in a judicial raid from the HMC office.
He allegedly sought a Rs70,000 bribe from a woman for her appointment as a nurse.
