RAWALPINDI: Nepal Ambassador Sewa Lamsal Adhikari paid a visit to the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and addressed a large gathering of traders and business community here on Monday. She was accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Tirtha Raj Aryal. Addressing the business community, she appreciated the role of RCCI for promoting bilateral trade relations through single country exhibitions. She said that credit goes to RCCI for organising Made in Pakistan Expo for the last seven years. This attracted a large number of visitors and there was resultantly a big demand for textile, jewellery and handicrafts. Pakistan and Nepal have strong historical relationship due to old Gandhara civilisation, she added. There is a need to explore new and favourable opportunities especially in tourism, hydro power and agri-based trade, she added.
