
According to the PMDC team, the dental college was established in 2011 without securing permission from the authority concerned nor did the college administration get approval from the PMDC before allowing admissions. According to sources, the PMDC team expressed its reservations on the posting of a junior assistant professor as the principal of the college.

Recently the college administration held entry tests for fresh admissions on 50 seats, despite being barred from doing so by the PMDC.
College spokesperson Abdul Samad Bhatti admitted that the PMDC has raised objections on the posting of junior assistant professor as principal and some other faculty members.
“We have fulfilled all the required formalities except for the posting of junior faculty members,” he said, adding that they tried their best to appoint an experienced principal for the college but could not find one.
