ABBOTTABAD:
Senior doctors of Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad on Wednesday called off their three- day token strike following assurance from the Board of Governors that their demands would be taken up with the provincial government. On the call of the action committee, senior Ayub Teaching Hospital doctors went on strike for a token two hours a day, boycotting their classes and OPDs, from Monday against alleged discrimination by the provincial government in payment of the health professional allowance to doctors. However, members of the action committee held a meeting with the BoG chairman, who assured them the matter would be resolved before next Wednesday.
