He asked authorities to ensure inclusion of future challenges, interest of overseas Pakistani investors and utilisation of manpower resources in their planning for industrial revolution, being the major requirement for the uplift of the people.
Presiding over a high-level meeting of KPEZDMC, Sherpao said that one of the existing world’s best irrigation canal systems of this province and the small dams building here should also be considered for micro and semi-micro power generation projects, besides the agricultural products and the hard working manpower of the province for future planning.
The meeting, which was also attended by Special Assistant to KP CM on Industries and Commerce, Abdul Karim, thoroughly discussed the 17 Industrial Economic Zones, being established in K-P and after detailed consideration value added suggestions were included in the master plan to ensure rapid development of the whole region.
The meeting was told that 17 Industrial Economic Zones, being established in different parts of the entire province, cost an estimate of Rs32.905 billion and are linked to the main route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
