Cross-border firing victims: AJK premier orders compensation

Required funds for this purpose have been transferred to all deputy commissioners of the state

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider has directed the concerned authorities to immediately compensate the families affected by cross-border firing by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC). According to official sources, required funds for this purpose have been transferred to all deputy commissioners of the state, Radio Pakistan reported. The announcement came as cross-border firing by Indian forces in Bora, Jindrot and Karbala sectors along the LoC left another four civilians dead, including a woman.
