Hostage drama No headway in Blue Area shooting case
The event ended after six hours due to the intervention of PPP leader Zamarud Khan

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of the famous Blue Area firing case till December 5. ATC Judge Syed Kausar Abbas Zaidi was on leave on Monday and the hearing of the case against Malik Mohammad Sikandar was adjourned without any proceeding. On August 15, 2013, a hostage crisis occurred in Blue Area. Sikander took one woman and two children hostage, purported to be his wife and children. The event ended after six hours due to the intervention of PPP leader Zamarud Khan and the shooting of Sikander. There has been no headway in the case.
