Pakistan Army show their shooting prowess
First National Air-gun Shooting Championship commences under the auspices of Federal Rifle Association

Pakistan Army were the most successful team on the opening day of the first National Air-gun Shooting Championship that commenced under the auspices of the Federal Rifle Association at the Gun and Country Club in Islamabad yesterday.
Shooting: Sextet named for Asian Championship
In the men’s individual air pistol event, Hav Kaleemullah of Pakistan Army scored 771.8 points to claim gold medal, while Muhammad Shehzad Akhtar of Pakistan Navy scored 770 points to win silver and Pakistan Air Force’s Kaleemullah settled for bronze with a score of 741.4. Air pistol category’s team event was also won by Pakistan Army with a combined total of 1703 points. Following them in second place were Pakistan Navy (1698 points), whereas Pakistan Air Force rounded off the top three, thanks to their tally of 1683 points.
