Gujranwala Raid: Police arrest three Da’ish militants
Police also claimed to have seized two kilograms of explosives, two detonators, three safety fuses lauding Da’ish

The Gujranwala police’s Counter-Terrorism Department claimed on Sunday to have arrested three suspected terrorists associated with the so-called Islamic State terrorist group. A CTD spokesperson said the police received information that three men were planning to attack a shrine in Gujranwala in a hideout near Eminabad. The law enforcement personnel raided the hideout at 4pm and arrested the suspected terrorists. The suspects were identified as Ali Raza, a resident of Lahore, Jawad Hamzam, a resident of Mirpurkhas, and Atif Mushtaq, a resident of Toba Tek Singh. Police also claimed to have seized two kilograms of explosives, two detonators, three safety fuses and pamphlets lauding Da’ish.
