In Marrakesh Morocco, 200 nations are holding talks from Nov. 7-18 to try to find ways to implement a global climate deal, the Paris Agreement.
Environmental threat: ‘Tackling climate change not job of one country alone’
The landmark pact came into force on November 4, 2016. It seeks to wean the world economy off fossil fuels in the second half of the century and limit a rise in average world temperatures to "well below" 2.0 degrees Celsius (3.6 Fahrenheit) above pre-industrial times.
