The show will continue till February 27. An assortment of plant and flower species, including perennials, palms, cacti, bonsai and orchids will be displayed.
The flower show will provide an opportunity to amateur and professional gardeners to purchase plants, tools and accessories.
Awareness programmes on environment will be held and a painting competition is awaiting children.
The allied bodies of the horticultural society such as the Ladies Horticulture Club, Amateur Gardeners Club, Ikebana International Karachi Chapter, Orchid Society of Pakistan, Floral Art Society and the Cactus and Succulent Society of Pakistan are participating.
Workshops and presentations on diverse topics would also be held to motivate and educate visitors and plant lovers.
