Balochistan, Sindh CMs visit victims

Sanaullah Zehri announced Rs1 million for those who lost their lives and Rs0.5 million for the injured

KARACHI: Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri reaffirmed his government’s commitment to continue the operation against terrorists and said, “Shah Noorani Shrine has temporarily been closed and its administrative control will be placed under the federal government”. He said this while talking to media after his visit to Civil Hospital, Karachi, where he met the victims of Noorani blast.

“These terrorists are cruel and target innocents. We will wage a war [against them] till Pakistan is terror-free,” he vowed. “We have been at war for the last 10 years and these terrorists will not find any place to hide.”

He announced Rs1 million for those who lost their lives and Rs0.5 million for the injured.

Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah visited the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Trauma Centre and said most of the victims belong to Karachi.

“Our doctors tried their best to save the lives of the injured brought here but some were in critical conditions and could not survive because of their late arrival,” he said. Karachi Corps Commander Lieutenant-General Naveed Mukhtar accompanied by Sindh Rangers director-general Major General Bilal Akbar also visited the injured victims. Chief of Army Staff Raheel Shareef also visited the victims.
