Student gunned down in Karachi 'sectarian attack'
Unidentified armed men open fire in Gulistan-e-Jauhar
A student was gunned down in a suspected sectarian attack in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar area on Friday.
According to Express News, the deceased identified as Murtaza was on his way home with his friends when unidentified armed men opened fire. The attack left Shahid and Ihsan injured, while Murtaza succumbed to his injuries.
The injured were immediately shifted to Jinnah hospital.

Reports suggested the students belonged the University of Karachi and Dow University of Health Sciences.
Meanwhile, Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) condemned the attack, saying the said area has become a domain of terrorists. In a statement, the religious party demanded immediate action against extremist elements in the metropolis.
Last month, at least five people were killed and several others injured in Nazimabad No 4 area of Karachi.
