Online Jobs: Rozee.pk launches Urdu website

The popular, online job portal Rozee.pk has launched an Urdu website, bringing its jobs and CV database to 70 million native speakers. Rozee.pk CEO Monis Rahman said with changing market dynamics and penetration of smartphones and 3G, it was increasingly important to offer services in local language to help less educated people of the country. He added Rozee.pk in Urdu was launched as part of their long-term vision to promote language accessibility to their platform. “This launch will open up unprecedented new career paths for millions of people. We hope this trend will grow in the coming years and will greatly benefit people,” he said.  The website is said to be Pakistan’s #1 recruitment platform, which connects talent with opportunity. The website provides services to job seekers and employers by providing them a platform for job searching and hiring. Around 75,000 employers and 6.5 million professionals use this website, according to Monis.
