Sarfraz, Raza frustrate Punjab in high-scoring draw
Wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed hits unbeaten double-hundred in Pentangular Cup.

Sarfraz Ahmed hit an unbeaten double hundred on the last day of Sindh’s Pentangular Cup second-round match against Punjab as the encounter ended in a high-scoring draw.
Resuming on 267 for three, the wicket-keeper, along with Hasan Raza, continued to frustrate Punjab’s bowlers on the last day. Sarfraz smashed 213 while Raza scored 120.
Sindh ended with 616 for seven as Khalid Latif (88) and Khurram Manzoor (86) chipped in with useful contributions. Part-timer Imran Farhat was the most successful bowler for Punjab and picked up two wickets.
Federal Areas draw against Balochistan
Federal Areas scored 210 for five in pursuit of 302 as they drew their match against Balochistan.
Umar Amin rounded off an excellent match with another half-century, making an unbeaten 79 to go with an 82 in the first-innings. Hammad Azam (44) and Naeem Anjum (31*) were the other notable scorers as Abdur Rauf and Zulfiqar Babar picked up two wickets apiece for Balochistan.
Earlier, Balochistan declared their second innings on 227 for seven. Rameez Alam was the top-scorer with 79 while Imad Wasim picked up three wickets for Federal Areas.
