Saving Lives: Rescue service trains 74 scuba divers

The training covered various aspects like free style swimming and underwater diving

LAHORE:
The graduation ceremony of the first batch of 74 trainers of Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) diving course was held at the Emergency Services Academy Thokar Niaz Baig on Friday. Emergency Services Academy Director General Brig (retd) Amir Hamza said the training was to enhance the professional and practical skills of the rescuers and train them about use of newly purchased 108 SCUBA sets. The training covered various aspects like free style swimming and underwater diving, familiarisation with SCUBA parts, trouble shooting and underwater communication.
