LONDON: Britain's Duchess of Cambridge on Friday met with women prisoners and visited a support centre helping those recovering from abuse and trauma as part of her work to raise awareness on mental health and addiction.
Prince William's wife visited HMP Eastwood Park prison in Gloucestershire "to learn what support is available to women prisoners and their families with complex needs", the couple's Kensington Palace residence said on Twitter.

She also met with a several women prisoners "to hear their personal stories". Kate also visited The Nelson Trust Women's Centre, which works to support vulnerable women and their families.
