Rescue 1122 performance: 2,258 people provided first aid 

2,066 incidents occurred in October in which 3,871 people were affected

DERA GHAZI KHAN: At least 2,258 people were provided first aid, while 1,579 individuals were shifted to the hospital for further medical treatment during October by Rescue 1122 officials. District Emergency Officer Natik Hayat said this while addressing a meeting on Tuesday. He said 2,066 incidents occurred in October in which 3,871 people were affected. He maintained mishaps and road accidents could be avoided by devising a comprehensive strategy. He further said 80% of accidents occur due to the negligence of motorcyclists.
