The renowned super model talks to us about her personal style, and how she dresses to flatter her lean physique

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I would say my body type is lean.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

I have somewhat always been the same size. Although after I hit 30, I started to gain weight on the lower part of my body more easily.

How has your style changed over the years?

I think with age one’s style does evolve. I believe it’s important to dress for your age, and with time my style has also gradually progressed.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

My thighs!

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I dress more conservatively.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

I think wearing minimal clothing here is a big mistake. I am a big believer in dressing for the environment.

Which silhouettes suit your body the most?

High collared, fitted and flowy cuts — thankfully, I can wear just about anything, which is definitely important as a model.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

Skintight clothing — I don’t like my clothes sticking to my body much.
