Politicking: K-P CM inciting hatred: Sanaullah
He urged the people of K-P to reject Pervaiz’s statements that were aimed at promoting provincialism
LAHORE:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak is inciting hatred among the people of his province against Punjab by issuing misleading statements, said Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday.
Talking to the media, he said Punjab had great love and affection for people of K-P as they were running businesses of billions of rupees in the country.
He urged the people of K-P to reject Pervaiz’s statements that were aimed at promoting provincialism.
The Punjab government had not blocked any roads across the province and would not allow anyone to lock down Islamabad, he said. Imran Khan had asked his party leaders to bring weapons with them at the sit-in, he alleged. Pervaiz’s statement showed that the PTI wanted to shut down Islamabad in an unconstitutional way, he added.
Criticising Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, Sanaullah said the AML leader had defamed the image of a political worker. “If people don’t show up at the sit-in due to any reason, the leaders should be mentally prepared for arrests,” he warned.
