Additional District and Sessions Judge Sahir Islam got released two Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers after recovering them from the illegal detention of Kahna police. A petition was filed at the district and sessions court seeking the recovery of Irfan and Haris, who were arrested from Garden Town police jurisdictions. The petitioner stated a bailiff be deputed and the detained workers be produced before court after recovering them from the illegal detention. The court deputed Iqbal Chohan as the bailiff, who raided Kahna police station and found the two men in a lockup. Neither any FIR was registered against the suspects nor were their named was mentioned in the Roznamcha.
