MIRPUR:
The current escalation in hostilities on the working boundary and the Line of Control (LoC) following frequent unprovoked firing by Indian troops is a matter of concern for the people seeking early peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue through composite dialogue between India and Pakistan, said a representative of the Kashmiri business community.

The fact is that Pakistan always worked for the peaceful settlement of all out standing issues including the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir, Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran (Ittehad Group) President Chaudhry Mahmood Ahmed said while talking to newsmen late on Sunday night.

He said that Pakistan always sought good neighbourly relations with India to achieve harmony in the region for social and economic progress. “But India always gave a negative and hostile response to Pakistani peace overtures,” he said.

Ahmed warned India to refrain from any misadventure against Pakistan or AJK. Entire Pakistani nation including the people of AJK would safeguard every inch of the motherland in case of any aggression from across the LoC, WB or the international border facing India, by fighting shoulder to shoulder with  the valiant armed forces of Pakistan.

“ The  people of AJK would turn  IoK  into a graveyard for Indian forces if they dared to launch an attack against Pakistan or AJK”, the Kashmiri traders ‘ leader declared.
