Governor Punjab's daughter-in-law dies in accident
Hina Khosa was killed in a road accident on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway early morning on Monday.
Governor Punjab Latif Khosa’s daughter-in-law Hina Khosa was killed in a road accident on the Lahore-Islamabad Motorway on Monday.
The accident took place early morning when the tyres of her vehicle burst near the Sheikhupura Interchange.
The deceased's sister was also in the vehicle at the time. She was injured and was taken to the Sheikhupura District Headquarter Hospital.
Hina Khosa was a lawyer at the Khosa law chamber in Lahore. She was on her way to meet her husband Khurram in Islamabad when the accident took place.
Her family has requested authorities that her body be handed to them without a post-mortem.
Meanwhile, Governor Khosa has suspended all official duties for the day.
