Gang busted: Four professional burglars nabbed

ISLAMABAD:
Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has arrested four thieves who had robbed a string of houses in the capital, a police spokesman said.
Officials recovered gold ornaments, stolen mobiles and weapons, from them.
The Special Investigation Unit (SIU), supervised by SP Investigation Capt (retd) Muhammad Ilyas, had constituted a team under the supervision of CIA DSP Bashir Noon to track and apprehend the burglars.
The five member team of officers managed to nab the habitual burglars and recovered valuables worth over Rs.1.25 million including gold jewelry, two laptops, 16 mobiles, one screen projector, one camera, one wristwatch and an illegal 0.30 caliber pistol with ammunition.
The accused were identified as Asif ur Rehman, Muhammad Shakeel, Muhammad Abid alias Arshad and Khurram Shazad. All four had
prior records.
