Pakistan, Italy to boost cooperation
The PAF chief emphasised the importance of operational exercises between two air forces
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Italian Air Force (IAF) have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in professional training besides participating in mutually conducted exercises.
The agreement between both the two countries’ air forces was reached at a meeting held between respective chiefs of the air staffs at the headquarters of IAF in Rome on Friday.
Italy to double investment in Pakistan this year
Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman is on an official visit to Italy on the invitation of his Italian counterpart, according to a press release issued by the PAF. On his arrival at the IAF headquarters, he was received by IAF Chief Lieutenant General Enzo Veccirelli and was presented a guard of honour.
The PAF chief was given a detailed briefing on the working of IAF and called on Lieutenant General Enzo. They discussed matters of mutual interest. The PAF chief emphasised the importance of mutual training and conduct of operational exercises between the two air forces to benefit from each other’s experiences.
