Ghandhara Nissan’s earnings up 30%
The company can produce 1,200 vehicles annually on a single shift basis

Ghandhara Nissan Limited posted a consolidated profit of Rs207 million in the quarter ended September 30, up 27% compared to Rs163 million in the same period last year, according to a company notice sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
Earnings per share (EPS) increased to Rs4.61 compared to an EPS of Rs3.63 in the period under review. KSE 100-Index closed at 39,872, down 114 points or 0.29% on Friday. Ghandhara Nissan’s share price closed at Rs255.53, down 3% from Rs263.37.
Though the company currently assembles trucks, it has the capacity to assemble buses and cars. Until a few years ago it used to assemble both buses and cars. Its plant is located at Bin Qasim Town, which is about 20 kilometers away from Karachi city.
