Protesters blocked the main road in the Nazimabad area of Karachi on Sunday, to demonstrate against illegal water connections.
The protestors uprooted these connections saying their legal connections were being affecting by them.
They also demanded the government as well as the department of water and sanitation to take action against the culprits, while urging the department to ensure continuous supply of clean drinking to their houses.
The citizens alleged that influential industrialists were supporting water mafia, allowing them to undertake illegal activities.
