Notices served: Unregistered medicines seized

ABBOTTABAD: The district drug control authority claims to have seized a huge quantity of unregistered drugs. According to K-P Drug Inspector Syed Aqib Ali Shah, he raided different medical stores in Cantonment Bazar and Jinnah Road in Abbottabad. During inspection, the official recovered a considerable stock of unregistered imported drugs from a chemist. He also seized medicines from a dental clinic’s pharmacy and another medical store. He added the seized medicines were sent to a laboratory in Peshawar for analysis before legal proceedings. The drug inspector served notices to two other medical stores.
