The father of the woman, who allegedly committed suicide in Punjab University’s hostel on Tuesday, has refused to allow any investigations. in his application to the mortuary, Ayesha Furqan’s father Furqan Hameed stated his daughter committed suicide in the room where she was staying with her cousin. He said he did not want an autopsy of the body and wanted to take it to his village in Attock for burial. He also cleared the PU administration for any suspicions surrounding his daughter’s death. Ayesha, 22, had applied for admission to the university on sports quota in an honours programme and was called to the campus by the varsity administration for trials on October 23.
